Power of Angel Investing Seminar
Are you an Angel Investor? Do you want to be?
SDTBC will be hosting a one day session on Angel Investing. It is two half day workshops, the morning session is on Due Diligence. It walks the angel investor through the key issues that will determine the risk factors and deal breakers that potential investors encounter. The session emphasizes what must be confirmed, the cost of confirming and the risk of not knowing.
The afternoon workshop is titled Doing the Deal. The focus is on the in-depth discussion of terms and conditions commonly used by angel investors when funding early stage ventures.
Both sessions will be conducted by Bill Payne, a business executive, entrepreneur and angel investor. Bill was granted the Hans Severiens Award in 2009, which is an award for the US Angel Investor of the year. He has a BS in engineering from University of Illinois. He co-founded Solid State Dielectrics, Inc. in 1971 and sold that company to DuPont in 1982. He has invested in over 50 start up companies since 1980.
