The Technology Business Center offers a unique business environment bringing together entrepreneurs with similar goals and challenges, as part of that mission the SDTBC is home to several other sources of entrepreneurial support. These partner organizations offer services which include business planning, small business loan guarantees, counseling and business workshops. Under our roof, client companies will have access to these partner resources:
State of South Dakota--Governor's Office of Economic Development (GOED)

U. S. Small Business Administration

Small Business Development Center
The Small Business Development Center has office in several locations throughout South Dakota. Their Sioux Falls office is located at SDTBC. They provide free consultation to entrepreneurs and prospective entrepreneurs related to preparing business plans and financial pro formas for business plans. http://www.usd.edu/business/south-dakota-small-business-development-center/
SCORE
Counselors to America's Small Business is the SCORE slogan, they are a network of volunteers with experience and expertise in business. The Sioux Falls branch is an active group of volunteers who will work with entrepreneurs to develop their business, if there is not a good local resource, you can connect with their national network of volunteers. http://www.siouxfallsscore136.org/
Small Business Innovation Research Center
While the SBIR program offers great opportunities to entrepreneurs and small businesses it is not applicable to all small business ventures. The program is limited to entrepreneurs or businesses developing innovative products and processes that meet federal research and development needs. http://www.sbir.dsu.edu/
Procurement Technical Assistance Center

South Dakota Enterprise Institute
The Enterprise Institute is a private, non-profit corporation that provides business development and commercialization services to researchers, inventors and start-up companies. They provide specialized fee-based services to entrepreneurs seeking equity financing and to researchers and inventors that need preliminary commercialization assistance. The Institute also manages several Angel Investment funds that provide equity capital for emerging companies in their communities. http://www.sdei.org

This SDTBC web site provides information about entrepreneurialism, operating a small business, and a way to link to many helpful sources of information. We provide links to several resources and our service partner web sites listed above, in addition to links to the web sites of our clients and” I.N. After Hours” sponsors. The Client Services Manager also maintains a library of books. Newspapers, magazines and other business publications are available in the Center's shared break room area.
