Meta Payment Systems offers stored-value and prepaid card solutions and is the first company to graduate from the South Dakota Technology Business Center.

In October 2005, the company moved into 9,000 square feet of the MetaBank building at 57th and Western. The company started with seven employees when it moved into the Center in June of 2004 and currently employs 30. Meta Payment Systems expects to grow to 46 employees within the next year.

DocuTAP was the first client tenant at SDTBC when Eric McDonald moved his one man shop into the Technology Business Center on January 1, 2004. His electronic medical records and practice management solutions are now being used by urgent care facilities in 17 states. DocuTAP graduated from SDTBC on July 13, 2007 and moved to the first building in the Technology and Business Park located just west of SDTBC at 4701 Research Drive in Sioux Falls.
