Mentoring
All clients will be provided an apportunity to establish a Mentor Board and/ or work with individual mentors from the Advisory Board on an as needed basis.
Business Consulting
Members of the Advisory Board and partner organizations such as the Small Business Administration, the Service Corp. of Retired Executives (SCORE), the Small Business Development Center (SBDC), the Women's Business Institute, and the Chamber's Small Business Council provide consulting and advice in the following areas:

Professional Services Network
The Advisory Board serves as the basis for a professional network to connect tenants with the following services:

Equity Funding Assistance
Partnering with SDSU Enterprise Institute, the SDTBC will host Angel Investor/Venture Capital forums and seminars to educate clients on the role of equity funding, educate potential angle investors on the investing process and provide opportunities for clients to present their business to Angel/Venture Capital investors.
Grant Funding Assistance
Partnering with the South Dakota Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Center and the South Dakota Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) Program, the SDTBC can help clients identify potential grant funding sources for research and product development.
Technology Entrepreneur Education Series
Partnering with SBA, SCORE, the SBDC, the Women's Business Institute, and the Chamber's Small Business Council the SDTBC offers a series of annual seminars directed specifically at the needs of technology entrepreneurs.
Connecting Clients and Postsecondary Students
The SDTBC in partnership with Forward Sioux Falls Interns in Industry program assists clients in establishing internship programs. The Interns in Industry program educates clients on how to implement an internship program, assists clients in filling internships, monitors the interns progress and provides partial funding of each new internship created.
Technology Entrepreneur Network (TEN)
The Technology Entrepreneur Network (TEN) offers entrepreneurs, CEO's and top level executives an opportunity to confer with their peers on issues that affect their firms' strategic direction and operation.
Participants meet monthly in roundtable sessions featuring expert presenters and consultants. Topics pertain to challenges and issues related to launching, leading and growing a business - business strategy, funding, employee retention, customer acquisition, channel development, team development, leadership, and other critical topics identified by participants. Through confidential sharing of information and insight, each group member simultaneously contributes to and benefits from the experience of fellow members. Participants find solutions to business problems that would be impossible without the combined knowledge of contributing members.
